Ph.D. candidate at George Mason University. I am in the 2023 spring job market. My job market paper, Censorship of U.S. Movies in China, uses structural models to analyze the extent to which the Chinese government censors U.S. films. My research interests include applied microeconomics, structural models of econometrics, and time series analysis. My goal is to use quantitive methods to make the world  (including China) better understand the political and economic institutions of the Chinese economy. 

I was a Ph.D. fellow at Mercatus center from 2018 to 2022,  and worked as a teaching assistant for Game Theory for Politicians and Principle Economics.  My vita is here.
